Spring is breaking at MyGirlFund and the birds and bees are buzzing around 24/7. The Mygirlfund Photo Contest keeps heating up! Thanks to all of the beautiful girls who submit and all of the awesome fans who reblog, like and comment.

Every week we see a wide variety of pictures from our amazing girls next door. Some are from photo-shoots, others shot by friends or significant others, and some are just beautiful and intriguing self-shots. MyGirlFund girls take a huge amount of pride in providing candid, high quality media content for their fans. The submissions this week prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

We host this photo contest to encourage all the lovely MGF girls to always be raising the standard in their own media production efforts and we are more than happy to reward the best submissions each week with some cold hard cash!

We are fairly particular in the way that we judge these photos, so we thought it best to go over submission guidelines and winner criteria once again, so that everyone is on the same page.

#1. If your picture is obviously photoshopped, it won’t get posted. By obvious we mean things like big frames and borders and watermarks that distract or detract from the picture. These photos should be about you, and not your graphic design skills!
#2. We want to see the “real girl” in your submission! We do accept shots from photo shoots, but they must communicate the fact that you are a real girl being real, not some prop in a photographers vision. Photographers watermarks are not allowed, so only submit pictures you have the green light to submit.
#3. Hot is not enough! This is a photo contest after all, so blurry, dark, or very low resolution photos will be moderated.
#4. We only accept a maximum of three submissions a week,or two in one day, from any one member.
#5. We will notice if you are recycling photos that you submitted in the past and those won’t get posted. Fresh content only please!
#6. There is about a one day lag in between the time you email your submission and it’s appearance on tumblr. All submissions are moderated and click through links back to the appropriate profiles are added. (lucky you!)
#7. Winners are picked on Monday and the submission deadline for every week is Sunday midnight. This means every Monday is the beginning of a new contest week.

Aurielee’s photos bring soft, sexy and adorable all together into a triptych that we can’t stop staring at. It’s extremely sexy, and who can deny that great smile? Other than this being a very well composed photo with good lighting and technique, it’s obvious she is really having fun, and that’s what makes these shots rise to the top. Finding the balance between posing for the camera, and taking natural looking photos is tricky! She walks this tightrope with ease.
Also worth noting, is this amazing headshot she graced us with. A well done close up can be sexier than a full body nude, and she proves this very eloquently.

The use of cosmetics has been around for a while now. Estimates are 6000 years. It’s a ritual as old as human history, and it has been included in the enchantress’ toolkit since day one. It covers imperfections and still allows us to stand out as individuals in a sea of faces. It enhances our attractive qualities and gives us an excuse to spend hours in front of a mirror every week. It strokes our vanity and bolsters our fragile and delicate egos. It’s a lot like magic. A backlash so powerful it is even making us unconsciously suspicious of and averse to our beloved makeup.

As a society with commonly held ideals of beauty, this is happening on a macro scale. Maybe for the first time ever. We want to know what our idols, and fantasies really look like in analog truth, and underneath all the makeup. We want the bare and obvious truth of the matter because we are sick and tired of being digitally fooled.

We have forgotten the faces of our mothers and sisters. We have digitally widened our mouths and eyes, slimmed our asses, chiseled our jaws, increased our bust and shrunk our feet. That’s just for starters. Then we have marketed this aggressively and deviously as “real”. We spoon feed this digital soup to our daughters and sons. We allow them to believe that the impossible standard of beautiful they compare themselves to actually exists.

Consequently, as a whole, heavy digital alteration leaves the viewer with a feeling of being betrayed or duped. We can’t put our finger on it most of the time, but we know something is wrong! We rebel. Because we can’t tell the difference anymore between digital and makeup, we are gravitating towards a new brand of media. A new version of what’s really real. The snaggle tooth sensation in Japan is also tied into this backlash.

Our concept of what’s sexy and beautiful is changing. We want the real deal. We want analog beauty in a digitally dominant world. We crave that obvious contrast. It makes us feel better about ourselves.

Oddly enough, it is porn stars and adult entertainers who are on the front line of this return to the real. In response to the porn stars without makeup sensation, adult social network MyGirlFund.com (disclosure, I’m a model on the site) launched a Free Your Face challenge. A face without alteration or makeup is a brave admission. It’s confessional and represents the price you pay for a truly clear conscience. It is also the most supremely confident thing that you can do. It doesn’t matter who you are. By projecting your “raw” face into the HD big screen domains of America’s living rooms you are fighting the inertia of human perception. You are combating the false god of symmetry. You are rejecting the stylized and colorized, the alien proportions. You are gorgeous and natural and beautifully human.

As idealized and often objectified and dehumanized sex symbols, you are also impossibly brave to do this.

We’re pleased to announce that week 13 went off without a hitch over on Mygirlfund’s contest Tumblr. This week we had lots of beautiful submissions from relatively unfamiliar faces. Keep it up! Ok, on to it! We start off like we always do with the entries that almost placed. This is the trickiest part of the contest… choosing out of so many great pictures. Remember, if your photo didn’t get chosen this week, don’t get discouraged, this contest happens every day of the week, so get out those cameras, and don’t be afraid to shoot a few our way.

Our first offering is an honorable mention along with three others. These are pictures that came close to placing. All are beautiful examples of the types of submissions that we are looking for.

Well boys and girls, week 14 slid right by without so much as a hiccup, or a complaint from the neighbors. Every day like clockwork, our Tumblr inbox has been filling up with mind-bogglingly sexy pictures. Some weeks our submissions are really wild, with lots of outdoor nudes, and crazy topless car rides. This week we bring you a calmer, and more intimate line-up of amazingly gorgeous girls, doing what they do best… being simply amazing.

No sirens, cops, barking dogs or fire trucks this week. In fact, a large number of our entries this time around were taken in bed! Think about it…These girls don’t even have to leave their room to be admired and pampered by thousands of fans, hopefuls, and friends. It must be a really hard life!
